The Arabic-language al-Manar TV Channel reported that the fighter jets pounded the small town of al-Shafa'ah in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, killing and injuring several civilians.
It went on to say that bodies of the members of an 8-member family, including children, were unearthed from under the debris of a building in the small town of Hjin, adding that the victim have been killed in the SDF's artillery attacks.
The TV Channel further reported that a large number of civilians have started fleeing the small towns of Abu al-Hassan and al-Kashmah in Southeastern Deir Ezzur after heavy air raids and artillery attacks on their regions.
The London-based pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Friday that a new military base was being built by the US forces in Southeastern Deir Ezzur to reinvigorate their positions in Eastern Syria after US President Donald Trump declared decision to pull forces out of the war-held country.
SOHR said that the US-led coalition was setting up a military base in regions near the town of Hajin in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.
The establishment of the new base came after the US president announced a plan for withdrawal of forces from Syria.
The report also said that the US-backed Kurdish militia planed to retreat from their positions in contact lines with the ISIL to counter Turkish troops' possible operation on the Eastern bank of the Euphrates River.
