Iran, Turkmenistan Sign 13 MoUs to Broaden Cooperation
TEHRAN (defapress)- Tehran and Ashgabat concluded over a dozen memoranda of understanding (MoUs) during Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's visit to the Central Asian country.
The 13 MoUs signed in the presence of the two countries' presidents on Tuesday covered cooperation on cultural, artistic, scientific and educational exchanges as well as commercial and industrial cooperation.
Other areas of cooperation covered by the MoUs included aviation industry and scientific exchanges.
Meanwhile, a joint statement was published in both capitals simultaneously on Tuesday.
President Rouhani, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Ashgabat on Tuesday morning. He is also to visit Baku the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
