The Syrian Army dispatched a large number of forces and equipment to Western Idlib on Wednesday to pave the ground for a major assault on Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra front) in Jisr al-Shughour region.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The army has forwarded hundreds of fresh forces and a large volume of military hardware to al-Ghaab plain in Western Idlib.
Military sources said that the army is planning to launch an large-scale operation in Western Idlib that is the main base of Tahrir al-Sham and al-Turkistani.
The Syrian and Russian fighter jets have been bombing heavily terrorists' movement and positions in Western Idlib in recent days.
In a relevant development on Tuesday, the army's artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at the movements and positions of the Al-Nusra in the towns of al-Latamina and Kafr Zita and their outskirts and in the villages of al-Sayyad, Latmin, al-Zakah and al-Arba'een in Northern Hama and Tal Aas region in Southern Idlib.
Also, other units of the army engaged in fierce clashes with the terrorist group in Tal Mosayebeen region in Northern Aleppo and near Mariwadah in Southern Aleppo.
The Al-Nusra's positions and military hardware were destroyed and a number of its gunmen were killed or wounded in the army attacks.
