Iran Condemns Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting"Extremism and terrorism knows no race or religion, and must be condemned in all cases. The world deserves better than to have to live with weaponized demagoguery," Zarif wrote on his twitter page on Monday.

Our "thoughts and prayers (are) with the victims of the terrorist attack on Pittsburgh synagogue and their loved ones," he added.

A 46-year-old resident of Baldwin, Pennsylvania, opened fire at Tree of Life synagogue during Shabbat services Saturday morning.

The man accused of killing 11 worshippers in a Pittsburgh synagogue is expected to appear in a federal court Monday.
