According to the report, Salman and McKenzie discussed cooperation between the two countries, especially in the military arena, Reuters reported.
They reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and latest developments in the region, it added.
The meeting came after Iran’s Supreme National Security Council recently designated US forces in West Asia, known as the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), as a terrorist organization in response to US President Donald Trump’s move to blacklist the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
