“America has a rooted enmity against the Iranian nation and whether Trump is elected or Biden, that will not affect the main policy of US in hitting the Iranian nation,” Ghalibaf said on Sunday at an open session of the Parliament.

Referring to recent US policies and measures against Iran in the UN Security Council, Ghalibaf added “The enemy did not achieve its goals because of the resistance and authority of the Iranian nation.”

“However, we should not be content with these legal and political defeats of the US and forget that our tyrant enemy will take steps towards imposing more sanctions and form a new sanctions regime if we neglect their measures.”

History shows that whenever we acted passively against US hostile polices, more pressure has been imposed on the people’s livelihoods, so it is necessary to prevent such pressures by adopting more active, smart, and influential measures, said the Parliament Speaker.

“So it is necessary for us to focus on making the Iranian nation stronger and announce the real victory after our people and our economy would become stronger and the nation feels tangible changes in their lives,” he added.
