Lebanese delegation arrives in Syria

A high-ranking Lebanese delegation, including the Lebanese FM, arrived in Syria on Sat.

The delegation is led by Hassan Diab caretaker Prime Minister of Lebanon and includes Lebanese ministers of foreign affairs, defense, economy, and energy.

The purpose of the trip is to reduce the problems caused by the electricity crisis in Lebanon and to discuss the transfer of electricity from Jordan to Lebanon through Syria.

Meanwhile, an Iranian ship carrying fuel for Lebanon has entered Syrian waters.
