Only Regional Countries Responsible for West Asia's Security

"We have highlighted that all transregional forces should leave the region," Rear Admiral Khanzadi said.

Khanzadi underlined that the country’s enemies would never confront Iran with weapons, because of their fear of the Army’s forces who are willing to die in order to defend their homeland.

In relevant remarks on Sunday, Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami underlined that his forces have a thorough assessment of the US air force and naval power in the region.

"We are aware of all US air force and naval power around our country," General Salami said in an interview with the state TV.

He stressed that Iran has increased the precision-striking power of its missiles so that they can hit the US warships before the fighter jets deployed on them can reach their operational range and launch airstrikes against Iran.

"The enemy knows that firing the first bullet and the first missile will lead to an endless war and therefore, it has not adopted the military option (against Iran) so far," General Salami said, adding that the Iranian Armed Forces can launch heavy and permanent attacks against enemy bases in the region and confront it in the sea at any level.

"We have produced radar-evading drones with the range of thousands of kilometers which can fly for 36 and 48 hours and carry weapons to conduct military operations," he underscored.

Elsewhere, General Salami referred to Iran's military advisory role in Iraq and Syria, and said, "Today, the Syrian and Iraqi armies are our strategic defense depth and this is the best strategy for clashes with the enemy in distant areas."

In relevant remarks in November, General Salami underlined that the country's Armed Forces are fully prepared to defend the country, and said that if enemy dares to attack the Islamic Republic, it will face Tehran's rigid reaction.

"As the regional upheavals unfolded, the enemy suffered defeat against our zealous youth, and it will experience the same in case of trying to make an aggression against the country,” Brigadier General Salami said.

He underlined that the enemy was after thwarting Iran's progress through supporting and strengthening terrorist groups by presenting a distorted and detestable image of Islam to the world.

"The enemy will face nothing, but defeat in return for hostility towards the Islamic Republic of Iran,” General Salami added.
